How to Develop Attitude of Gratitude

Gratitude is an attitude of life that you should develop to become successful and live a happy and productive life.

You should be thankful for all good and bad things. As a coin has two sides, in the same way our life is full of joys and sorrows. If we remain happy even during our tough times it becomes easier for us to live our lives happily.

We should be thankful for everything in our life.

Some people thank God just from the upper surface of their mind and not from the core of their heart. If you show an attitude of gratitude for a gift brought by your friend on your birthday you will notice how happy your friend will feel and you will also get satisfaction that you have made someone happy by saying few words of thanking to someone.

To develop an attitude of gratitude it is necessary that you should count all good things in your life.

Say thanks to all your near and dear ones at least once in a day. You can say thank you by simply sending messages or emails. Even if you send a thank you card to someone who has done a simple work for you he/she will feel happy.  You can also visit your friend’s house to say thank you with a beautiful smile on your face.

Helping people will also give you satisfaction of mind.

It is difficult to develop an attitude of gratitude during hard times of life. People who remain positive even during hard times definitely get success in life. You should be thankful for everything you do for others. Everyday spend some time to recall good things so that you may feel that love and good things are all around you every time and you should be thankful for these good things in your life.

You’re right that retaining a sense of gratitude, especially during the hard times, is a very difficult feat. I noticed that when I take a moment and allow myself to be grateful for the good things in my life, however small they may be, I feel a sense of lightness and rejuvenation. Reading your article helped remind me of that, and it is my goal to make a daily note of what I am grateful for.

For sure Tiffani, every morning I write down what I am grateful for, Its sets up my day to be happy and appreciative for even the smaller things in life. Its really is a great practice everyone should do this daily.
